TNTE! (Theres Nothing To Eat)

How often do you hear TNTE from your children or your husband? What do you grab?

These are some of our favorites:

Peanut butter and crackers. Top with sliced banana, raisins or a dab of jelly or just bologna and PB.

Celery ribs, cleaned and cut into quarters. Fill with peanut butter and top with raisins or dried cranberries. Or fill with cream cheese or cottage cheese and top with chopped walnuts or sesame seeds.

Tuna crunchers: Drain a can of tuna. Mix in 1 to 2 tablespoons mayonnaise and 1 diced pickle. Eat on crackers, toast or in a rib of celery.

Cottage cheese and pineapple.

Gorp: Mix nuts or seeds and dried fruit - peanuts, walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, raisins, dried cranberries, coconut, etc. Spread peanut butter on apple slices and dip into gorp to see what sticks.

Mix other snack items such as Cheese-Its or pretzels into gorp.

Gorp is also a good topper for cottage cheese, applesauce or cereal.
