Caramel Apple Squares

1 3/4 c flour
1 c oats
1/2 c brown sugar
1 c margarine, softened
1/2 t baking soda
pinch of salt
1 can apple pie filling
1 can Eagle brand milk
20 caramels

Mix first ingredients together and save 1 1/2 c of crumbs for topping. Put rest in 9X13 pan and back at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.

Spoon 1 can of apple pie filling on top of baked crust.
Melt over low heat - 1 can of Eagle brand milk and 20 caramels. Stir constantly until melted smooth. Pour over the pie filling. Crumble reserved crumbs on top and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
