Cinnamon Cider

3 quarts apple cider
5 cups ginger ale
1-1/2 cups red cinnamon candy
6 cinnamon sticks
6 whole cloves

Combine cider and ginger ale in stock pot. Place candy and spices in a spice basket or cheesecloth bag and immerse in cider. Cover pot and simmer for 45 minutes. Remove spices before serving. Just as tasty reheated the next day.
